The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) offers its students and doctoral candidates a research-oriented education at the highest scientific level. In order for them to gain the necessary skills as tomorrow's leaders and to fully exploit their professional and personal potential for the benefit of our society, personality development is offered as an additional tool beyond the specialist curricula.
For this reason, the Leadership Talent Academy was launched in 2020 and can already look back on five successful programs.
What is the Leadership Talent Academy?
The Leadership Talent Academy modules are aimed at value-oriented personal development in order to prepare the 25 participants well for future leadership responsibilities. The seminars and workshops offer the opportunity for self-reflection and also provide an opportunity for exchange and networking within the group and the alumni network.
Who can take part in the Leadership Talent Academy?
The Leadership Talent Academy is open to KIT Master's students and doctoral candidates from the engineering and natural sciences who are about to make the transition to professional life.
Ideally, the participants have already dealt with the topic of "good leadership" at the beginning of the program and are interested in developing personally within the framework of the modules offered.

When does the Leadership Talent Academy start and how can I apply?
The application phase for the summer semester 2025 is expected to be in spring 2025. If you are interested in the support program in subsequent semesters, you are welcome to register at lta∂irm.kit.edu. We will inform you as soon as there is concrete news about the application process and the planned program.
