Meet us on Campus! We are available to answer any questions you may have about application documents, starting a job and more. Come by during the open consultation hours in the Cube. Every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Engesserstraße 9. No appointment needed.
Open online consultation hours
Are you about to submit your application and would like an expert to take a look at your documents? Or do you have urgent questions about the application process? In the open online consultation hours, the advisors of the KIT Career Service will give you final tips on your application documents and answer your open questions.
The office hours always take place on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and are carried out using the "ZOOM" tool.
No appointment is required for this brief consultation (5-10 minutes). Simply click your way to the counselors in the room between 11 a.m. and 12 noon. If you have to wait in the waiting room first, the room is currently occupied and you will be admitted as soon as the room is free.

Career coaching
As of now, the KIT Career Service is offering individual coaching in addition to advice. Here you have the opportunity to discuss fundamental questions about professional orientation or to develop specific ideas and strategies. We support you with different questioning techniques in structuring thoughts and activating your own resources.
Your questions could be, for example:
- Which professional direction suits me?
- How do I find out what I want to work?
- I have several offers, how should I choose?
- How do I find out what I'm good at and what sets me apart?
- How do I look for a job or an internship?
The coaching offer is aimed at Bachelor students from the second half of their studies and Master students. KIT graduates up to a maximum of 1 year after graduation are also welcome.
Application Check
Currently, we also conduct the application checks by email. Please send your request to info∂careerservice.kit.edu. If you would like detailed advice on your application documents, you can book an appointment online via the Career Service Portal.
Applying with chronic illness and disability
If you have any questions regarding applications with disabilities and chronic illnesses, please contact Ms. Scherwitz-Gallegos, KIT Representative for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses.
