Strategic Partnerships with Industry

Companies that engage in long-term, substantial, and comprehensive collaboration in research and innovation with KIT may be designated as strategic partners by the KIT Executive Board.

The goal of a strategic partnership is to establish and maintain a trusting and intensive cooperation on equal footing, managed effectively over time. Annual meetings at the management level aim to identify and leverage mutual needs and potentials in the best possible way.

In addition to research and innovation, the collaboration also includes teaching, internationalization, recruiting, university marketing, and engagement with socially relevant issues.

Implementation is initiated by invitation from the KIT Executive Board and formalized through a separate agreement.
