With over 500 million users, LinkedInTM is multitudes more than a glorified online resume platform – it is an integral component of business networking across the globe. This workshop will dive deep into what your profile should include (and what it shouldn’t!); how to use keywords to your advantage; how to craft a unique summary; and how to grow and maintain your network. We will focus in on the wide range of active and passive job search techniques that can be utilized on the platform.

This workshop consists of two workshop days of two hours each, for a total workshop time of four hours. After workshop day #1 (LinkedInTM basics and job search strategies), you have 1-2 weeks to implement what was discussed in the workshop in preparation for workshop day #2 (profile building and optimizing). After the final workshop day, you have an additional week to make any last revisions to their profile and request their profile check (if included). Students should plan to spend ca. 2 hours preparing for the workshop and 5+ hours for completing their profile in-between the workshop days.
