Profile of the Leadership Talent Academy
What is the Leadership Talent Academy?
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) offers its students and doctoral candidates a research-oriented education on top scientific level. In order to enable them to gain the necessary competencies as tomorrow's leaders and to fully exploit their professional and personal potential for the benefit of our society, personality development is offered as an additional tool beyond the professional curricula.
For this reason, a Leadership Talent Academy will be established over the next three years, based on a cooperation between the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Karl Schlecht Foundation (KSG). The exclusive support program is financed by the Karl Schlecht Foundation, which focuses on "Good Leadership".
How is the Leadership Talent Academy structured?
The unique curriculum of the Leadership Talent Academy aims at a value-oriented personal and career development in the qualification of future managers. Participants have the opportunity to get to know themselves intensively and are also given the opportunity for exchange, reflection and networking.
The support programme comprises 10 workshop and seminar days on various topics such as Personality & Communication, TopHealth, Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship. If the conditions are right, a 7-day academy week "Leadership and Personality" will follow for a limited number of participants. The curriculum is rounded off by an accompanying coaching program and alumni events.
Who is the Leadership Talent Academy for?
In the first round, selected top master students and doctoral candidates of KIT, from the engineering and natural sciences, will be invited to this exclusive funding program.
Preferably they should be on the verge of a transition into professional life, have thought about a later management position and wish to gain further qualifications in the sense of a value-oriented personality and career development. The program is suitable for all those who are interested in leadership and would like to grow into leadership responsibility.
