What does the Karl Schlecht Foundation do?
The Karl Schlecht Foundation is a non-profit foundation with a focus on "Good Leadership". Its guiding principle is to improve leadership in business and society through humanistic values. With this in mind, it promotes the holistic, value-oriented personal development of young people and aspiring leaders.
The Karl Schlecht Foundation (KSG) has been supporting the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since 2020 with the establishment and implementation of the "Leadership Talent Academy" (LTA).
Who is behind the Karl Schlecht Foundation?
The Karl Schlecht Foundation was established in 1998 by Dipl.-Ing. Karl Schlecht. The founder is the founder of the concrete pump manufacturer Putzmeister, which was a pioneer in the development of future-oriented plastering systems and concrete pumps. Among numerous other awards, Karl Schlecht also received the Innovation Award of the KIT Institute for Technology and Management in Construction.
What is the vision of the Karl Schlecht Foundation?
Vision is a trust-building leadership culture that puts people at the center. The central prerequisite for good leadership is a mature and creative personality with a distinctive ethical attitude. It is about the personality development of future leaders on the basis of humanistic values - with the aim of strengthening young leaders and entrepreneurs and motivating them to courageously go beyond themselves again and again on the way to their vision. True to the motto: "Always in search of the good par excellence."
