The Online Workshop on November 12th, 2020 includes an individual preparation phase and a transfer phase

Preparation phase: (approx. 2 hours, on your own time) November 7th to 11th, 2020

Online attendance: November 12th , 2020, 9:00 a.m. - approx. 1:30 p.m.

Transfer phase: (approx. 2 hours, on your own time) November 13th to 17th, 2020

"Make the most of your application" 

Methods and procedures in recruiting change through the use of digital applications and new media - but one thing remains essentially the same: as an applicant, you have to be able to convince employers that you are the best person for the job.

For you as an applicant it is crucial that you know your abilities, skills and competences - before you apply: because they are important to decide where to apply. This self-knowledge also helps you to identify fitting job opportunities.

A successful written application will be followed by interviews and/or assessment situations: you might also face new trends here (e.g. video interviews etc).

In the workshop, you will learn how to convince employers in German speaking countries - how to create application documents and how to present yourself orally.

Main topics will be tips and tricks for

• basics of personnel selection procedures
• successfully using online selection and pre-selection tools
• creating application documents (CV,  letter, etc)
• dealing with assessment tools (e.g. online assessment tools, interview etc)

Participation:

• To participate you need a laptop or computer with audio / video function (microphone and camera). You also need a stable internet connection.
• You will receive an individual login code for the moodle course room for the workshop one day prior to the preparation phaseh at the latest
• Preparation phase - prerequisite for participation: approx. 2 hours, on your own time: in the moodle course room you will find materials and tasks to prepare. If necessary, these tasks are supervised by the trainer.
• On the online attendance date, we will work together on interactive learning situations from 9:00 am to around 1:30 pm (short breaks)
• Transfer phase: approx. 2 hours, on your own time: in the moodle course room you will receive feedback, can ask further questions and exchange ideas with the trainer and the other participants.
