As the opening event of the EFFEKTE science festival, the Open Day of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will be held under the motto "Effective at KIT" on the South Campus in summer 2025.

The range of KIT research will be presented to the public in vivid experiments, demonstrations, and tours. At the Open Day at Campus North 2023, this was experienced by about 25,000 enthusiastic visitors.

KIT presents itself as an attractive place to study and employer and provides information, among other things, about studies, training, and lifelong learning. In addition, student university groups and many other KIT institutions show their diverse activities as well as sponsors and partners.
