What does the Karl Schlecht Foundation do?
The Karl Schlecht Foundation is a non-profit foundation with a focus on "Good Leadership". Its guiding principle is the improvement of leadership in business and society through humanistic values. Against this background, it promotes the integrated, value-oriented personality development of young people and future managers.
The Karl Schlecht Foundation (KSG) has been supporting the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since 2020 with the establishment and implementation of the "Leadership Talent Academy" (LTA).
Who is behind the Karl Schlecht Foundation?
The Karl Schlecht Foundation was established in 1998 by Dipl.-Ing. Karl Schlecht. The founder is the founder of the concrete pump manufacturer Putzmeister, which was a pioneer in the development of future-oriented plastering systems and concrete pumps. Karl Schlecht received the Innovation Prize of the Institute for Technology and Management in Construction Operations of the KIT, among numerous other awards.
What is the vision of the Karl Schlecht Foundation?
Vision is a trust-building management culture that puts people at the centre. The central prerequisite for good leadership is a mature and creative personality with a strong ethical attitude. It is about the personality development of prospective leaders on the basis of humanistic values - with the aim of strengthening young leadership and entrepreneurial personalities and motivating them to courageously rise above themselves again and again on the path to their vision.
